Meridian Guitars is a handmade brand that utilizes Meridian's own experience as a luthier, his research into various basses, and ideas obtained from the voices of bass players in the field, and makes full use of innovative technology to create its products.
This model has a 21.5-23 inch scale with fan frets and is tuned from E to high F. In addition, to compensate for the tension, regular strings of .130-.028 gauge are strung.
The compact single-cut shaped body with a total length of 729 mm is made of okoume wood with a cocobolo top with a beautiful grain and a hard and responsive wenge fingerboard. The pickup is Delano's dual coil humbucker 'Times Square', the preamp is Delano's 'Sonar 2', and the 2EQ control produces a sound that combines deep lows, transparent highs, and excellent harmonic characteristics.
