Includes bridge and pickup covers (not pictured).
The early 1962 Jazz Bass is perhaps one the most sought-after vintage versions of the instrument, with the rare combination of four stacked concentric control knobs and a flat-lam rosewood fingerboard. A two-piece select alder body wears a nicely worn Relic finish, and the quartersawn maple neck has a ’60s-style “J Bass U” profile, 9.5” fingerboard radius and 20 medium jumbo (6150) frets.
Custom Shop hand-wound Vintage Jazz Bass pickups deliver perfect low end, and a period-correct four-ply brown shell nitrocellulose pickguard lends vintage charm. Other features include a four-saddle vintage-style bridge, vintage-style tuning machines and a bone nut. Also includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
