New old stock - was sealed and unused when i got it. I opened it, modified the unbalanced 1/4“ TS jack to be a balanced XLR jack, tested it and put it right back in the original packaging so it’s pretty much NOS. Sounds very cool!
This moving coil dynamic mic is a Top Address micriphone like an sm58 or sm57. in fact, I did take the body apart and notice that the diaphragm looks identical to an SM 58. I would use this where you would use an SM 57 or an SM 58. It’s a killer dynamic mic and sounds absolutely phenomenal. The TD series is getting a lot of attention lately as people discover these old mics are actually well made and have a very pleasing vintage tone. This one would sound great with its top pointed at a guitar cab or drum. Even background vocals or percussion. Again, anywhere you would use a regular dynamic mic, this will shine. The pigtail is about 10 inches long. For a small fee, I can change the cable to a more modern shielded cable and make it as long or as short as you would like.
Thanks for looking, have a great day
