I am the original owner of this very special LTD EC-401 w/ a beautiful see-thru black finish. I have also upgraded this guitar when it comes to hardware and pickups.

This guitar features the Gotoh magnum locking tuners that are found on most ESP guitars. I had to special order these from Japan. The rest of the hardware has been swapped out for all black hardware which contrasts beautifully with the guitar finish. I also upgraded the pickups to a Seymour Duncan Custom In the bridge, and a

'59 in the neck position. I also swapped out the strap buttons for Dunlop strap locks. This guitar has some slight blemishes here and there, which are very minor. All are pictured, which include a slight finish crack where the body meets the neck, and a small finish blemish on the back of the body. Part of the nut also chipped off when the guitar fell on my foot. Yes, it hurt, and it's what made me switch to strap locks. The nut still functions perfectly fine and the strings are all in place and secure as they should be. It pains me to put this one up for sale, and given all the upgrades l've put into it, will be selling at a significant loss, so my loss is most definitely your gain. I will ship this in a like-new hard shell Gator case.
