The Ibanez Ichika electric guitar is the signature instrument of internet sensation and guitarist Ichika. Ichika gained his global following and reputation through a unique combination of complex techniques and an easily identifiable sound. Ichika chose to base his signature guitar off the headless Q (Quest) series from Ibanez. This Ichika electric guitar largely holds to the specifications and design of the Q54, with a few notable changes. Ichika’s guitar features three Ibanez R1 single-coil pickups rather than the standard HSS configuration, which helps accentuate tonal clarity as well as bright, glassy sounds that balance the highly rhythmic and percussive elements in Ichika's playing. Featuring a nyatoh body paired with a Wizard roasted maple neck and fingerboard with jumbo stainless steel frets, this versatile Ibanez electric offers an aesthetic appeal as well as an audible one.
