Using materials sourced from our private new old stock collection, we've spared no expense in recreating the soul of classic Strat® tone. Our magnet wire comes from Corona Wire Inc., made in New York between 1975 and 1985, with 43 AWG Heavy Formvar—the exact material used in original pre-CBS pickups.

We’ve gone above and beyond to achieve the legendary pole staggered setup found in 1960-1962 models, ensuring an authentic, balanced sound with perfect vintage character. The result? A rich, full-bodied tone with exceptional clarity, perfect for players who seek a broad tonal range and the unmistakable warmth of an era-defining sound.

The pickups are wound with north polarity for the strings, and, as with all our right-handed sets, they are wound clockwise, maintaining period-correct construction. The result is a set of pickups that not only sound incredible but also honor the craftsmanship and attention to detail that have made vintage Strat® pickups a legend.

We’ve also taken great care to replicate the magnetic charge of the original pickups, optimizing their tonal response and ensuring they deliver the same warmth and depth that Strat® players have cherished for decades.

• Neck Pickup: 5.90k ohms

All pickups are within a 5% tolerance, as environmental factors such as temperature and humidity may affect resistance.

To complete the vintage experience, the magnets are crafted from Alnico 5 with a specific gauss, and each pickup is lightly dipped in Evans Antique Paraffin Wax—a medicinal-grade wax used in the 1950s, ensuring the highest level of authenticity.
