Nylon stringed classical guitars have an ageless appeal regardless of the genre of music you play. Classical players require a larger string spacing to accommodate their precise finger style playing. If you're a steel string player though, you may not be accustomed to playing the wider width, so we've developed the EACT42S with its steel string-like spacing to accommodate you. The EACT42S features a cutaway for upper fret access, a feedback reducing thinline body and premium electronics combined with the smooth, full tone of nylon strings to make it easier to get up to speed producing nylon stringed tones in any performance situation.

Washburn designed the Festival series to address the needs of the performing musician and it has succeeded for over 25 years. The Festival series was the standard acoustic/electric guitar seen on MTV's "Unplugged" series and has since become one of the best selling and most copied guitars on the market. We offer these out of an ever-changing open inventory of b-stock pieces at our distributor's. They don't provide specifics of the issue that caused the b-stock classification. 

• B-Stock items have minor cosmetic blemishes that were discovered during the set-up and inspection process. These are strictly cosmetic and do not affect the playability of the instrument. Many times, the blemish is so small you will have a hard time finding it w/ the naked eye. 
• In other cases, the b-stock status comes from the model being discontinued and it is in brand new condition. 
• B-Stock items carry a Full Mechanical Warranty, but since they are being sold as a B-Stock, they do not carry a cosmetic warranty.  
• Only instruments w/ minor cosmetic blemishes and/or discontinued are B-Stock. We will not sell Instruments w/ greater issues.
