Rare Bronson Acoustic made in 1958. This was most likely made by Harmony for Bronson Music based out of Detroit, Michigan. The H929 was a popular 3/4 model guitar played many blues/roots artists and by many rockers in their early years. I've included just one pic of an H929 being played by Stevie Nicks. What's rare is that I've never seen a H929 made for Bronson Music of Detroit, MI. Generally Stella is the name on the these H929's. So here is very cool rare combination for your consideration.

Guitar condition as follows... there were 4 small cracks in the top and bottom, 3 were glued and stabilized, one longer crack had to be glued and cleated to ensure stability and longevity of the repair. There are initial's carved into the guitar of the previous owners name or perhaps a music store or music department. The neck is slightly bowed, showing around .018 relief at the 7th fret, has the original wood nut with a layer of material missing on the edges, but not enough to cause playability issues or require a nut replacement. The original bridge was broken and being held by 2 bolts which were removed. An era correct bridge was then installed, properly glued along with attention given to one loose internal brace.

I've installed new light weight (11/47's) Martin silk and steel strings which I've found works really well on these 50's 60's parlor style guitars and lends extra mellow tones to the guitar. The guitar plays well and there are notable overtones which are always a bonus to hear! There are bumps and nicks abounding on the guitar. I've tried to capture them in the pics. The action on the guitar is good and pics show that measurement. The guitar comes what appears to be the original canvas/khaki colored case in very good condition for it's age.
