The S3 is the latest addition to Sire's S Series line-up, and the most affordable entry in their electric guitar range to date. A Larry Carlton approved model, the S3 is constructed from tonewoods and features typically found on high-end instruments — making it one of the best bang-for-your-buck guitars you can buy!
Equipped with an immensely-versatile Sire Standard-ST HSS pickup set, the Sire S3 also boasts a rock-solid Maple neck adorned with a luxurious rolled-edge Rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets for ultra-smooth playability. Trust us, you won't find many guitars at this price-point that are as flexible or easy to play as the stellar S3!
Key Features
- Mahogany Body — Delivers a deep and sustain-rich sound; giving the pickups a broader and more harmonically-exciting tone.
- 'Edgeless' Rosewood Fingerboard — A silky material with a deliciously-dark grain; enhanced with rolled edges for comfortable, played-in feel. No sharp fret ends here!
- Medium Jumbo Frets — Semi-large size offers great control under the fingers; enabling wide vibrato and pitch-perfect string bends.
- Sire Standard-ST Pickup Set — The HSS configuration gives you a range of humbucking and single-coil tones, making for an extremely versatile guitar. 5-position pickup selector switch yields 5 sounds in total.
- Sire Standard Tremolo — Modern 2-post design provides a smooth tremolo arm action; letting you embellish chords or lead lines with natural, musical vibrato.
- Bone Nut — Traditional, low-friction material minimises unwanted tuning slips.
