Altec 1599A (serviced) discrete 6 channel mixer with four 1588B plug in transformer mic preamp modules, 1970s - Dallas area

Altec 1599a discrete 6 channel mixer with four 1588B plug in transformer mic preamps, bench tested and in great electronic condition, all electrolytic capacitors have been changed and the switches have been cleaned, caps have been changed in the 1588B preamp units also.

It's possible that most 1588Bs don't work well unless they've been recapped. I tested 16 of the 1588B modules and 13 were bad, the other 3 measured ok but not great, the caps are about 50 years old and no longer perform as capacitors, they are perfect now.
