Although Gordy's Music specializes in vintage guitar and amplifier gear, I have sold hundreds of accordions and vintage synthesizers over the past 4 decades. I was raised on the accordion and classically trained for 10 years at the age of 5 by my late Father Ben Lupo.  My Dad was a professional accordion-keyboard player for 73 years from the age of 13 and I have on my wall here at the shop here his 70-year member plaque from the Detroit Local 5 Federation of Musicians Union as well as several plaque trophies earned from the 3 all accordion bands, he led in competitions back then that I participated in as a kid. I miss my father and he taught me all about the accordion. Raised on spaghetti and the accordion.

Here we have a very nice Castelfidardo by B. Burini 120 bass accordion. This instrument is more than likely from the 1950's or so and for being that old it has been well cared for and in amazing condition.

I mean this thing is very CLEAN with a few minimal flaws in the finish. The nice leather straps are showing a little wear. This accordion like all our instruments has been gone through by our repairman. He had to rewax and check all the keys and cleaned out all the insides. He also made a minor repair on the case and replaced 1 latch. The case is in superb condition with no odors.

NOTE: Accordion sitting for awhile so might need some light work.

This accordion has 4 shifts on the right hand with 1 on the bass side. The bellows are nice and tight and in great shape.

Superb easy playability with a rich full TONE.

I get calls just about every day and look at several accordions every month, as we are the only store in lower Michigan selling & repairing accordions. I have a soft spot in my heart for them from my Pop as told above.
