I bought this from Epiphone in Los Angeles in 2006, and have owned it ever since. It was played live a handful of times and a few studio sessions but basically sat untouched since then.
This was from a limited production run of 1,965 John Lennon 'Revolution' Casino guitars made by Epiphone in association with Yoko Ono, who allowed the company access to the original guitar owned by Lennon. The reproduction has the same serial number as Lennon's original, and also some of the screw holes from when he took off the scratch plate..the attention to detail is amazing.
The guitar came with original hardcase that bore a Lennon drawn logo, some more documents and a white scratch plate - I had left all those items in the US when I moved back as I began to worry that the case looked far too attractive to anyone handling the guitar, and immediately began using a standard hard case to transport it around the place.
Guitar will come with a solid Epiphone hardcase to ensure safe delivery.
Just note this listing is for GUITAR ONLY
It plays great and has that chunk and warm tone that you would expect - also can be quite lively as most semi-hollow body guitars can be but I love it and I think you will too!
