This guitar is in very good shape for its age. It does have some corrosion primarily on the exposed metal parts. This rest could probably be removed or just replace the screws as these are readily available. There is some other corrosion on some of the other metal parts as I’ve shown in the photos. There are some very light scratches on the pick guard as well as some small marks that I’ve tried to capture in the photos. The original pink paint on the headstock has slightly yellow however still looks great. It’s rare to find this color in this condition from the 1980s.
It does need strings as one of them is broken, and the others potentially stretched. It does need a fair amount of cleaning however, it wouldn’t take much to get her fully operational.
the pick-ups are set up a special way and described by my guitarist friend like this… “the bridge and neck pickups work fine. The middle position does not make sound but is possibly a dummy coil because when you‘re in the bridge or neck position there is no single coil hum.“
