Today a restored made in the U.S.A. 1928 La Pacifica banjo/ ukulele, Or as known in the 1920’s a Banjolele.
This was the rage and many were made of different styles, quality and shapes. From resonators to pineapple body’s. The Ukulele was in! Soon to follow was Hawaiian music and then cinema In the 40’s. Vibes puts this example in very good condition, with a Grover 1920’s new old stock maple ebony bridge and a current goat skin head replacement, everything else is original including the case. With an exquisite aquatic octopus hand painted and clear coated with nitrocellulose. 15 steel frets in excellent condition, solid maple body and neck with ebony fretboard and nut. Original Banjo ivorode tuners with a new black/ tan leather strap and Aquila SilkCut neon green strings. 21 1/4” from top of the headstock to the bottom of the tailpiece, 7 3/4“ head/ body diameter, the body is 2 1/2” wide and 13 1/2“ from nut to bridge. Plays extremely loud and sounds musical!!!
