Banjo is in very good playing condition all the way up the neck.
Loud and brassy.
Some nicks and scratches commensurate with care in handling over the decades.
Matching Serial numbers 67862 dates to 1923.
Tortoise bound rim.
No cracks or damage other than wear.
Neck is straight, no twists.
Minor fret wear, see photo.
Some light rust and plate loss on some the J hooks.
Nickel plating still shiny.
Vellum is in good condition with no tears or holes.
There is a chip in the 4th string tuner, does not affect functionality.
Ships in original hard shell case.
All case latches and hinges working, though there is some separation to the top, see photo.
