Lipstick pickups feature poly-coated coil wire wound on Alnico 5 bar magnets, encased in iconic chrome-plated metal tubes. This fully shielded design produces the clean, classic jangly sound, and full-throated overdriven tone that's completely different from traditional pickup design. They sound amazing for slide playing too.
The Alnico 5 magnets produce a clear tone with more pronounced highs and a tighter low end. The humbucker is high output to push your amp hard, the single-coil is lower output for ultra-clean tones. The humbucker has four-conductor wiring for spitting, phase reversal, and series and parallel options.
