For sale is a Yamaha Acoustic/Electric AEX1500 Jazz Box guitar in gorgeous condition. This guitar could have been made last year by the looks of it… but it’s from 1997!!!
Owner took amazing care of this guitar as witnessed by the condition of this guitar. Our on-site luthier has inspected this guitar. It is in 100% playing condition. It features a beautiful natural yellow color. Yamaha’s description is ”satin”, however it is not a satin finish. High gloss all the way!

The AEX 1500 allows the player to explore new expressions in a jazz oriented repertoire. On the one hand, it’s neck mounted, mini Humbucker reproduces those warm and mellow traditional archtop tones; on the other hand, the instrument carries a bridge- loaded Piezo system for reproducing realistic amplified acoustic sounds. These two signal sources can be mixed together, offering an extensive pallet of voicings and providing extensive tonal tailoring courtesy of the piezo’s three band EQ and adjustable (400Hz-2kHz) mid range. Tradition and technology mix in equal measure on a superbly built arch top instrument that represents Yamaha‘s, flagship, jazz, friendly, acoustic electric hybrid.
