About This Listing

The Rickenbacker CW-758 triple neck console steel guitar is made of top grade highly figured solid maple. It features Rickenbacker's legendary Horseshoe pickup on three long 25" scale 8 string necks. It is currently set with a B11, C6, and Jules E13 but can accommodate a wide variety of tunings of your choice.

This CW-758 is a stunning and RARE piece. By 1957 there were not many console (non pedal) steels being made. And the 25" long scale was largely left on models back in the 1930s. Combine that scale with the Ric. Horseshoe pickups and you have a serious tone and sustain machine. The body is hollow and made of 3/4" highly figured solid maple in a variety of different figure types.

It has an interesting set of controls. Each neck has an on/off switch. Individual volumes can be set with the audience side controls on each neck. There is a master volume on the player side of the middle neck. The player side controls on the front and back necks control the overall tone.

Overal Length: 37 In. (94 Cm.)
Body Depth (Back): 4 In. (10.15 Cm.)
Scale Length: 25 in. (63.5 Cm.)
Nut Width: 2 1/8 in. (54 Mm.)
Serial Number:

This CW-758 is in great shape! It is all original and very hard to find. The long scale and Horseshoe pickups combine for wonderful tone and killer sustain. The chrome shines, and the maple has a lovely golden hue to its original lacquer finish. It has a few age appropriate dings and light marks from normal use. It come with its original case.
