Vintage 1963 Gretsch Corvette Electric Guitar Husk Project w/ Pickups, Hagstrom Case!

Up for sale is this vintage 1963 Gretsch Corvette electric guitar husk project. This instrument will require parts and work to be playable, so please read the entire description and see all of the photos. It is being offered "AS IS".

The body has recieved a very ugly and very amateur neck heel repair at some point and we are not sure how it will play under tension. We would assume, at best, it's going to require more work. How much? We can't say. The original finish shows heavy wear, including numerous dings, scratches, and scuffs.

This listing includes:

- the body and neck (the neck is straight and the truss rod functions).

- broken original truss rod cover.

- original pickups (both are rough cosmetically with the covers being badly bent up, the bridge pickup is weak, the neck pickup works as it should but one pole piece is broken).

- bottom strap button (pushed into the body).

- pickguard (might not be original, it seems correct but too clean).

- wiring harness.

- one reissue knob.

This one includes a 1960's Hagstrom case, which fits loosely but the instrument will be well-packed inside to ensure safe shipping. The case is in very nice condition for its age, but does show typical wear.

Overall, this one is going to require some love, but should make a very fun project for someone...
