I bought this tube from Brent Jessee Recording back around 2012. I have since learned that the tube that came did not match what was written on the box. The box says 1965 7308/E188CC. After recent research it appears that the tube is more likley a 1975 6922/E88CC. The metal tag inside the tube is the key. The code is somewhat explained on the Brent Jessee website. The two are compatible but the dollar value is not the same. The tube was used once in a Rode mic and sounded great. Massive improvement over stock tubes. I have since sold the mics with the stock tubes.
