Crate GT 500H 50 watt Guitar Amp Head 1990s
This is an all tube guitar amp head. It's very much like the Crate VC tube amps, if not identical. Two channels, has an insert input on the front to place external effects between the pre and power amp. It has a nice clean channel to my ears, good for pedals. The drive channel has it's own character. Kind of low-fi and good for crunchy blues and slide guitar. It's an el84 pre amp so it's not like a Marshall. I replaced the original reverb tank with a genuine Accutronics tank.
