We got a 20" Paiste Prototype Ride, here. It is made of Signature alloy and weighs about 2500 grams and has an odd, somewhat flattened profile that almost makes the cymbal look dented or curved upward slightly once it gets past the initial downward taper, thus I strongly believe it to be a Signature Dry Ride Prototype that isn't very different from it's standard counterpart. That being said, there one dented and rough area on the edge shown in the edge closeups in 3 different pics of the same spot but the roughness is not a huge issue. There's a scratch on top under the paiste logo I showed along with other more typical scratches that I didn't individually point out. There's ink fade and stickmarks and discoloration and patina. There's no cracks or keyholing. MY OPINION ON SOUND: Yup, sounds like a Paiste Dry Ride, too. Not overly pingy like most Sigs, more fiery and steely and metallic stick.. a little glassy.. dry but washy.. nice crash that's fiery and loud but kinda crisp and not clunky.
