Vintage Early 1960's Fender Jaguar Pickguard - Rare White Nitrate for Custom Colors

Here's a very rare find - an early 60's Fender Jaguar pickguard in white/green color. As you know, the standard sunburst Jaguards were shipped with a tortoiseshell guard, but many of the custom color models were shipped with this white guard for more contrast.

Since the Jaguar began manufacture in 1962, and since these "green" nitrate guards were phased on in early 1965, there were not many made in this color.

Pics show the "normal" greenish color, as well as the direct sunlight variants - front and back.

If you have an original custom color Jaguar that is missing its original pickguard, this is a unique opportunity to make your valuable guitar all-original.

This guard has been mounted on a piece of wood to prevent shrinkage. Of course, through the years there is normal wear and contraction of the plastic. Therefore, I cannot guarantee it will fit your particular guitar without slight modification. This is normal for these guards.
