This is a Geib and Schaeffer chipboard guitar case from the '30s. Black pattern outer covering, leather trim, purple flannel inside lining, embossed seal on the back reads "G & S CO., UTILITY CHICAGO TRADE MARK". Inside measurements are:
- Length 38-1/2"
- Upper bout 10-1/2"
- Waist 10-1/4"
- Lower bout 14"
- Depth 4-3/4"

I reglued some seams, replaced a bit of leather trim and put a plastic shield on the deteriorating handle. Otherwise in good vintage condition with some worn edges on the leather trim, interior is in good shape with no musty odor, all latches work fine.

Please review the photos carefully as they are the best description of the case. Sold as photographed. Guitar not included. Contact me with questions or comments. Thanks for looking.
