Killer drive. The mid knob is key. Way too much gear but if I sell enough, I might keep it.

Will it SRV? Yes ..... But will it Robben? Yes, yes it will and much more.
"The Silver Lynx is all that and then some! With the focused bottom end already in place, the PB knob gives that "caged tiger" feeling and it sings real nice. I think it's imperative though to keep the N knob somewhere between 7:30 and 10:30 to crunch the bottom a bit. You can have the N knob that far to the left because of the focused bottom end. My gut feeling is that if you put the N to the right, then you start to lose the "caged tiger" feeling for the sake of more headroom. If for some reason, you needed more punch (doubtful), then use a treble booster. Really hits that Robben Ford sound. Great pedal."
"The lynx is on the board. It's AMAZING! So juicy! It's even better than original bearfoot 4 knob version, that pre-boost is killer. Absolutely exceeds my expectations. Using it as a preamp right into a two notes can m+ providing power amp and can sim. JoocyPhat! 👍👍🤘🤘"
"Okay. I’ve been wanting to try this one out for quite a while and it did not disappoint. From the start, this thing gave up all the amp about to explode vibes I could handle. With almost every pedal, be it a fuzz or overdrive, I tend toward the lower end of the gain spectrum. However, my favorite tones on the SL were with everything wide open; maybe roll the bass back a tiny bit to get a little clarity with humbuckers. That said, it has fantastic flexibility and, once I had my fill of amp destruction, I dialed things back and found plenty of more subtle overdriven sounds that I would use. I’m not sure what else I can say about this beast.
The Lynx totally lived up to what I was hoping for."
The new Silver Lynx is the Silver Bee plus a pre dirt upper mid boost that takes the Silverface spit and Silvertone snarl and adds Tweedish mids to really give it some fangs and claws.
So Ive been working on a Dumble ish pedal .... and I got to thinking about what is 'that' sound and how can I get it to sound more alive than some Ive heard that are too muddy and compressed ... The challenge is getting the dirt and EQ and compression to line up correctly. I also wanted to make a pedal that would recreate my favorite old modded amp - My Deluxe Reverb... a common mod was to take a Silverface Deluxe Reverb and revoice the Reverb channel as Blackface and the non Reverb channel as Tweed. Id use an ABY box to switch between the two channels and also swap in a Jensen speaker with a british cone that gives a little more mids and little less icepick treble or run it through an EVM .... much more useful and versatile. And the final trick was to plug into the first input of the first channel and out of the second in into the first in of the reverb channel. BUT the channels are out of phase so when you do that it sounds thinner and weaker. BUT if you put a pedal in between the two channels that flips the phase you get nice, fat Tweedish mids into a Black/Silverface tone. BUT thats kind of clumsy to move a round ~~~~ so back to Dumble ... the classic Dumble sound is usually based on modded Blackface Fenders with a middish drive circuit to give those 'singing' lead tones we love, so I put the two together and added the pre dirt upper midboost into the Silver Bee and voila, you can mix up a wide variety of tones including the tones when one 'links' the two phase corrected Del Reverb channels... and so by balancing the Snarl/Bass and the Mid boost and the Spit/Treble controls there is a really tasty range of mixable Dtones in there that you can rebalance for your rig/needs. The Silver Bee is also a great bass drive and some of the bass players wanted more mids and aggression so this also makes it more useful for Bassists. The Silver Lynx is what you get when one 'links' Tweed and Blackface channels together and makes it purr and snarl while staying dynamic.
