The DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the result of more than 20 years of collaboration between Paul Smith and David Grissom. The DGT is based on the McCarty with a unique DGT neck shape, taller frets, special pickups, and a revised control layout. Grissom and Paul spent a year A/B-ing more than forty sets of pickups before nailing the vintage-voice of DGT humbuckers. When paired with individual volume controls for each pickup and a push/pull master tone control that operates the coil taps, DGT pickups provide versatility and articulation. We decided to build a Wood Library run of these, and they've turned out perfectly. Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboards, hand selected Quilted maple "10" tops, and Rainbow designed birds make this a very unique guitar. We somehow managed to make a special guitar even more interesting. These lookers are pure tone-monsters. Any sound, and any style can be yours. Individual volume controls for each pickup help to make things easy on you to make tones. There is also a coil tap for more varied tone. Better jump on these, they will not hang around.
