Nick Catanese Signature gauge Helix Electric Guitar Strings from Dean Markley are made of 8% nickel-plated steel. This set is comprised of Nick's select gauges that ensure durability, performance, tone, and execution. The proprietary Hyper-Elliptical compressed winding process allows for an increased number of wraps across the length of the string without altering its diameter. In addition, Helix Strings are wrapped over a tinned mandolin wire hex core. The strings are twisted to create more mass with a smoother feel, producing a fuller and enhanced tone, as well as improved sustain, and increased longevity.
