Up for sale is a rare Carlos Pina Flamenco Blanca #66 which I purchased used in 1997. This guitar has survived many high end guitars in my collection over the years. Built with premium spruce and cypress. It is feather light and resonates extremely well. Aesthetically it was marked when I got it. It gets a C. For playability and tone I give it a A+++. This little one is fast with great tone. From warm supple chime to full out roar of the beast. Amazing sounds are possible. The hexaphonic pickup sounds fantastic. The best sounding amplified acoustic I've ever heard. The action is fast and low and quite precise. The upper registers sound fantastic. The guitar projects well. It's a masterfully built crossover Flamenco guitar from the shop of Carlos Pina in Paracho, Mexico. One of the great builders.

650mm scale length, 2-1/8" nut width, 3-1/4" depth, 14-3/8" lower bout, 10-7/8" upper bout, 39" length

The neck is smooth as glass without flaws. The reflections on the neck in image 10 are a result of bad light not damage to the neck. The only "damage" to the neck is the strap button hole and that has never been a problem playing this guitar. Because the body is narrow upper fret access is easier than on deeper body guitars. And there are no dead spots at the joint in the upper register all the way up the neck. Come with Der Jung tuners.

This is a vintage instrument.

There is normal signs of use and many marks were there when I bought it in '97. I hate parting with this guitar but I am not a Flamenco player and this guitar rarely gets played any more. It really wants to be in the hands of an outstanding up and coming Flamenco player wanting a big percussive sound with lyrical qualities. This is that guitar. A fantastic treasure from the Pina shop.
