Used, gig-worn 13" Chrome "Stick Chopper" RIM from Slingerland tom drum, Radio King era made in the late 1950's to early 1960's most likely. Probably was used as a bottom hoop judging by the top of the rim having edge nicks and pitting from being set down unprotected. The hoop has no engraving, it's plain.
Rim is in round, no major dents or cracks. Where hoop was welded in manufacture it is slightly flat at that weld area. There is substantial scratching where the drum was most likely set down on it's side from being moved around for gigs and such. The top of the rim has dents and some surface rust pits scattered around the top of the hoop. Still has some shine, the chrome plating is good, so a cleaning and buffing will definitely get it looking better too.
Road worthy and ready to play hoop!
