With the extreme costs of even obtaining a blown unit, trying to find the correct parts( sold here),and rising shipping costs, these are a cost effective way to get your classic loudspeaker up and running again...

Great for DIY and other replacements as well....

These are ALL AMERICAN components, and use the heavy duty PMR steel frames ,and the core vented, bumped rear plate samarium cobalt magnetic assemblies, and JBL components.

Here's some info:

Frames- stamped steel 4 spoke assemblies

Hook up- standard 4 spade terminals

Magnetic composition- samarium cobalt

Core- screen vented

Pole plates- 4140 alloy

Front mounting gasket- yes

Litz wire- .055" diameter COPPER litz wire

Dust cap- non pressed no lip jbl type cap

Surround- light weight cloth accordion profile/ ultra high compliance/high excursion capable textile jbl type

A lot of attention was paid to the small details.There are 3 different adhesives used in these, the cones are even neck dipped, the white color IS the cone material( not just painted on like lesser quality products), and even the litz wire is pure copper, and not the industry standard mixed metal silver stuff...Just copper litz makes a huge difference in resolution...

Again, these are NEW UNITS, and come with a 1 year limited,TRANSFERRABLE warranty.
