This Sansui sr-929 was my main turntable until one day it just slowed down... it did not cease to work but the speed of the turntable just slowed down. I opened it to check and see if it was a mechanical issue and it was not. I believe there are some minor parts missing for the arm, but it worked fine for me. Since it slowed down, it has been sitting in my storage unit in Brooklyn. I'm letting it go AS IS thinking someone out there might want to take it on as a project and get it fixed. It sounded great while it sill worked.
The turntable has some dents in the exterior corners, some visible wear and dust, it is over 45 years old. Dustcover, which also has some scratches and general wear, and cables included. No cartridge. The manual pictured is a printout I found online.
I have seen fully working copies of this go for $800-$1000 so my asking price is intended to give you the option of paying for it to be serviced.
The turntable is very heavy, 17 kgs ( 38 lbs), which makes it difficult to move around and very expensive to ship. Local pickup only.
