Hey Reverbers! For sale is a 1955 Gretsch Duo Jet. First off, I'm only selling this guitar to fund some major life changes, I'd love to keep it. This Duo Jet sounds AWESOME. It's resonant, comfortable, and the pickups have just the right amount of twang and bark. The guitar has lots of buckle rash on the back along with nicks and bumps, this thing was definitely played (and for good reason!)
The neck was reset by Avi Shabat of Shabat Guitars and the frets and binding were worked on by Ian Anderson. Besides the neck reset, and one bridge saddle, the guitar is all original. I also have the original tweed case! It weighs 7.3lbs.
This guitar is AMAZING! The only reason I'm selling it is to cover some bills from being out of work for a few months. Let's give this thing a good home!
