Alembic Essence Bass 5 String USA made 1996
This is a lightly used bass with zero marks on the body active electronics ,
a 5 piece neck ,maple top beauty ,small amount of oxidation at the brass bridge etc . But overall exceptional condition wise .
Warm and fat with blend and punch as needed .

Many have asked how they could get the Alembic sound without the size and weight of the classic Alembic instruments. the answer is the Essence. We took the lead for the design from right half of the Small Standard body.
We slimmed this down until it was barely big enough to hold the electronics.
