Fender Telecaster Bass 1968 - Original Custom Color Black

1968 Fender Telecaster Bass in Great condition. ORIGINAL Custom Color Black finish. Only unoriginal parts are white pickguard ,as most of these original pickguards degraded and were replaced, two reissue screws on the bridge cover, and one added strap button where the neck meets the body. Other strap button is original. When we got this it had a quarter pounder pickup in it, but we reinstalled the original pickup dated 9/15/68, and it sounds better than the newer one with a strong signal. The pictures that look brownish is from the reflection of a brown brickish ceiling. The original black has no brown at all in it. Neck is straight,truss rod works, plays beautifully all the way up the neck. There was a badass bridge on it ,but no added holes, as it was an exact fit. There was a slight mark left by the badass bridges footprint ,which is slightly wider than the original one we put back on. Pots original. Original case is in pretty good shape with a some frayed wear on 3 of the corners. Absolutely no breaks ,crack or repairs. Frets have lots of life left in them. Will include the newer pickup as well.
