Slingerland Radio King Bongos 1940s in White Pearl

This is a very nice example of the 40's Slingerland Radio King era bongos. The had Stock Ludwig heads installed when they were still available in the late 90s but never played.  For 80 years old these are in remarkable condition typical aging and little wear.  These are deluxe chrome plated version that seems to stand the test of time better than the nickel hardware from Slingerland of this era. The Montreal Music shop "Boite A Musique" has attached a cool metal name plate (common to see in our parts) This badge seems like it is more likely a 60s addition and possibly used on their rental drums maybe someone from Montreal knows more.
