Vintage Marantz SR-1000 Symphonic Stereo Receiver - Serviced

Thank you for stopping by and checking out this listing. I’m an electrical engineer who rescues and restores vintage items, primarily audio systems. While this isn’t my main business, I thoroughly enjoy bringing vintage electronic equipment back to life for the sake of fun and nostalgia.

Before listing, I typically spend weeks researching, purchasing parts, troubleshooting, cleaning, upgrading, and thoroughly testing.

Services performed on this item:

- Replaced the output stereo amplifier module STK463.

- Replaced all damaged or aged electrolyte capacitors from the power supply, drive and tune boards.

- Upgraded all lights with blue LED.

- Deoxited spray and cleaning all potentiometers and switches.

- The case is new, since the original cheap one was damaged, I decided for building a new one (see pictures). For my taste it is super exclusive and cool.

There are some marks and wear as usual for a vintage gear (See pictures)

A beautiful item from the music and sound golden ages with super warm sound, indeed a nice acquisition.
