Up for sale is a very cool and increasingly hard-to-find 1952 Magnatone Lyric D8 Console Steel Guitar in good working condition, complete with its original hard shell case.
This classic double-neck console steel delivers the warm, rich tone these early Magnatones are known for. The electronics are clean and functioning properly, and the guitar sounds fantastic. One neck — the side with the pickup cover installed — has just been restrung with a fresh set of strings and is ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetically, this steel shows honest vintage wear consistent with its age while still presenting nicely overall. One of the original pickup covers is missing, but this does not affect functionality in any way.
