STANDARD-SETTING CONVERSION AND CLOCKING

Its AD/DA converters are capable of achieving up to 130dB dynamic range, ensuring Gen4 its leading position among 1U studio centerpieces. Antelope Audio’s signature 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking technology powers the high-performing conversion and the unit’s two Word Clock outputs are there to keep your whole studio in line. Additionally, the available 10MHz input is compatible with the cream of the crop of clocking – the unrivaled 10M & 10MX Atomic Clocks by Antelope Audio.

128-CHANNELS OF AUDIO VIA THUNDERBOLT AND MADI

Orion 32+ Gen4 can stream twice as many channels over Thunderbolt as its predecessor and has twice as much MADI connectivity, now at 128 channels for both. These significant upgrades allow for up to four units to be daisy-chained for 128 channels of AD/DA via a single computer connection. This makes the unit a top choice for large recordings, live sound applications, complex post-production setups and broadcast facilities. It’s a preferred companion to large mixing consoles, hardware effects processing chains, analog summing boxes, reel-to-reel setups, hardware synthesizers and pretty much anything else you can throw at it.

The system’s intuitive monitoring controls and fast preset recall functionality are designed to increase productivity. It is available as an optional upgrade for the Orion 32+ Gen4. As a physical extension of the system, the compatible Antelope MRC hardware controller provides streamlined and tactile controls that are key for effortless yet advanced monitoring.

REDESIGNED WORKFLOW FOR IMPROVED PRODUCTIVITY

Orion 32+ Gen4 comes not only with an updated look and drastically boosted hardware but with a redesigned Software Control Panel for an even smoother workflow. It now features a powerful preset recall system complete with signal routing, level adjustments, mixer settings and monitoring controls, among others. A handy monitoring pop-out widget has been introduced for hands-on output level control and preset recall, featuring an always-on-top function. The unit’s signal routing matrix is now fully customizable with convenient patching and less complexity in mind.
