This is a very well balanced single (4.8%) JAN Tung-Sol 6SU7 / 6188 tube that was made in the USA to JAN military specs. This means lower microphonics, stronger tubes, and longer heater life. This tube is a great replacement for 6SL7 tubes and they sound much better than any new production tube that you can find. It has black 12ax7 style plates, clear glass, and brown bases. These are highly sought after Tung-Sol 6188/6SL7 tubes, act quickly before they sell out!! More available upon request.
By careful buying "matched pairs" from sellers who do not list the equipment that they use to match tubes or the values of the tubes your are buying.
I personally tested these tubes as better than NOS on my recently calibrated Hickok 600a and TV7D/U tube tester.
