The Tokai/Ventura TX5 Classic combo organ is the pinnacle of modeling technology. Featuring multiple organ models - Clean, Classic, Heavenly, Dirty, and Metallic - the TX5 is the most versatile clonewheel organ available.

The TX5 Classic features unparalleled flexibility, as virtually all of its parameters can be adjusted to the most minute degree, and stored per program. Because of this flexibility, the TX5 isn't just one organ, but 32 organs in one.

No two tonewheel organs sound exactly alike, and players are very particular about their organ sound. There are subtle differences in tone as some organs have a 'clean' sound, and others experience "Leakage", the tendency for a magnetic pickup to detect surrounding tonewheels. Percussion and key click vary from one organ to the next. Clonewheel organs attempt to control these tonal variables, but often do so in an attempt to "perfect" the organ's sound.

Some alteration of those parameters is available on other clonewheels, but to a limited degree. Each parameter is given only a few settings -- worse, these settings are global. The Ventura TX5 Classic makes no such pretensions of "perfect" sound, but rather is built on the notion of giving organists the power to customize their sound in the most realistic manner possible. To this end, all of the organ parameters on the TX5 are fine-tunable, and storable per program, providing ultimate tonal flexibility.

The customization doesn't end with each parameter, though; the TX5 is designed with five distinct organ models on board: Clean, Classic, Heavenly, Dirty, and Metallic. The Clean, Classic, Heavenly, and Dirty models recreate varying degrees of tone and character, each with a unique characteristic such as tonewheel leakage to differentiate it. The Metallic model turns modeling on its ear, though, simulating a transistor organ tone within a tonewheel model.
