1969 Univox Uni-fuzz Shin-Ei

Today from kingdom of fuzz. The legendary Uni-Fuzz made by Shin-Ei for Univox in Japan in 1969. The creator is a wizard named Fumio Mieda. 🙏 This is the second version of this fuzz. first it appears in the Psychedelic machine which was then split into 2 legendary effects the Uni-Vibe and this the second version Uni-Fuzz also known as the FY-6 circuit. the 3rd version goes on to become the Super fuzz, we are sure you have heard of that orange. Unlike the first commercial fuzz which had 18 components this over the top fuzz has 53 components with a 1KHZ mid scoop and an octave up on some notes. This is a big boy in fuzz world and there just isn’t anything quite like it except for the endless clones sometimes costing more! Vibes considers this bad ass and in very good condition if not excellent. 100 percent original with minimal wear though out, only thing that could put the frosting on top would be the original foot control, yeah sorry we don’t have that. What we do have and will include is a Fender 60’s reissue footswitch. You’re welcome to write Univox on it! You will be pleased and forever shoe gazing now!
