Summary
Originally Steve Howe's and ended up in the Chinery collection as part of a trade.
Body: Semi-hollow birdseye/quilted maple, 7-ply binding on top, 3-ply on bottom and dual 5-ply bound, quilted maple pick guards
Neck: Three-piece maple neck with 1 11/16" wide nut and bound ebony fretboard with pearloid dot inlays, "Custom Shop Original" stamped on the back of the headstock
Pickups/Hardware: Two humbuckers, three-way pickup selector switch, one volume, one bass, and one treble control (one visible potentiometer date code dates to 1979), compressor switch, two active/passive switches, active electronics by Moog, and Gibson tuners
Cosmetic Condition: The body is incredibly clean, there's just some finish corrosion on the bottom from a guitar stand that has eaten away at the finish. The neck is very clean and glossy and just has one ding on the back. The headstock just about looks like new. This unique guitar is in incredible shape!
