This vintage Bassman has the original tweed covering, grill cloth and all of the main components are original. The tweed had lacquer applied decades ago. Some capacitors have been changed. One of the speakers was bad and has been replaced, but the same style Jenson from the same year was used. The code on the tube chart has worn off but the Chassis Code is "BM02387" which dates it to 1959. Three speakers date to 1960 and one is from 1959. See photos for the rest of the stamps and markings. It has recently been serviced, has been fully tested and is in excellent working order. With that said, only the minimum was done to keep as many original parts intact as possible. It is an old, vintage amp and may need further service if you plan to gig with it or put a lot more miles on it.

The exterior has some general wear but it's pretty clean overall. There is some discoloration on the top from where it was in a road case and the foam reacted to it, but this was cleaned up by the repair shop. There is also some corrosion on the top chrome plate. Two of the screws on the top that hold the chassis in place were rusted out and have been replaced. I couldn't find any vintage ones so I used new ones and painted the tops brown.
