This Heritage Custom Shop Core Collection H-150 delivers the inspiration and sound that made late '50s electric guitars icons and classics.
This special guitar is made in the legendary factory at 225 Parsons Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. The body is made of ultra-light, real mahogany, which means that the Heritage Custom Core H-150 has a total weight of 3.88 kg despite its solid construction. The nitro lacquer finish with vintage gloss gives this instrument a velvety soft feel. With a newly designed carved top, 17° headstock angle and 4.5° neck angle, the Heritage Custom Core H-150 is optimized for excellent playability.
She owns the “Heritage Custom Shop 225 Classic Humbucker”. Edwin Wilson, head of guitar research and development at Heritage Guitars, designed these pickups and tuned them specifically for the Heritage Custom Core H-150. Both clean and distorted, they are highly transparent/dynamic and are therefore suitable for many styles of music.
Other features include a late 50's C-profile neck that feels very comfortable in the hand; a locking bridge and an aluminum stop tailpiece for more sustain and resonance. The headstock has a real wood veneer and bears the 'Heritage' logo along with a mother-of-pearl Twin Arrow inlay. The 3L/3R tuners are laser engraved with the 'Heritage' logo.
It comes in a newly designed Custom Shop Deluxe wooden case with a certificate of authenticity and case candy.
