This 1965 Strato Deluxe is a really cool and unique guitar. They were made in Germany by Framus, one of the highest quality German guitar manufacturers of the time. Solid Maple body, and laminated Maple neck. It has some unique features like the Swell knob which you active with a switch, it’s basically a spring loaded volume knob.
I have really enjoyed this guitar, it has a great tremolo system that actually stays in tune pretty well. It’s pretty versitile with three pickups with independent on/off switches. Has great clean, surfy, or lowfi tones, and handles gain and distortion nicely. The neck is worn in nicely and has a slim profile making for a very comfortable playing experience.
I am only selling because the neck is just too narrow for me at the nut. I have big hands and I just can’t get comfortable on it.
