The Gretsch Electromatic G5622 Centre Block Double Cut is for those players who like their guitars live, loud and kicking! 

A cranked Gretsch at high volume is certainly something to behold, therefore with the G5622 Gretsch embraced this by creating a fresh faced model with a core centre block without losing focus on the aspects that matter most. That classic Gretsch sound, style and playability. 

The double cutaway body takes direct inspiration from its legendary big brother, the Country Gent, in shape and depth with a laminated Maple construction and retro aged white body binding. A centre running block is also present in this design so players can access enhanced sustain and play at high volumes or with aggressive drives without generating unplayable feedback. 

Gretsch as always have taken great care to ensure that their instrument offers a superb playing experience. Firstly, the gloss finished Maple neck used on this Electromatic G5622 model has been shaped to a highly playable thin "U" profile and topped with a laurel fingerboard. Along with a shorter 24.6" scale length, 22 medium jumbo sized frets provide a comfortable middle ground in terms of feel while keeping any intricate picking or bends in check at all times. 

At the business end of the instrument are a pair of Dual Black Top BroadTron humbucking pickups, designed to deliver plenty of chiming highs with good amounts of punch and classic Gretsch articulation. The versatile control layout consists of a master volume with treble bleed circuit, neck and bridge pickup volume controls and a 3-way pickup switch.
