This 7x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 0.6 inch thick Bubinga wood, a very hard African exotic wood. This custom snare drum has 6 ply wood hoops - the inner and outer plies are African Bubinga, and the 2nd, 4th and 5th plies are Zebrawood. There’s also a Zebrawood inlay on the outer portion of both shaped hoops. I topped it off with 6 coats of durable and beautiful hand-rubbed oil in a semi-gloss finish. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is a beautiful example of figured exotic wood.
