Vintage RARE 1966 Japan Pleasant SE 218 Shinko Gakki Made Electric Guitar Faded White Pro Setup New Strings Gigbag

Here's one I bet you haven't seen before. I had not! Its a really cool 1966 Pleasant Guitar made in Japan by Shinko Gakki. The model number is SE218. It has an awesome sounding Single Coil Pickups that sounds fantastic. Looking for that garage band sound? You found it here!! I really like this one.

This cool Guitar plays as good as it looks. I love the Necks on these. Nice and Strat like. Huge sound out of this guitar. It weighs 7 lbs 13 ozs and packs a wallop!!

All original. The only think missing is the vibrato assembly. We had our Tech set it up as a Hard Tail. See pic 7. It has very hot Teisco made Single Coil pickups and our Tech was able to get the switches working. We cleaned up the original pots and replaced the input jack. Its ready to rock!

The original white finish has certainly faded in most spots. It was really really dirty when it got here. We were able to get it all shined up again and as you can see in pic 10, some of the finish has been worn off on the bottom side. I think the guitar was played on a lap mostly. The frets are still in very good shape, the truss rod works and it plays great with awesome low playing action. A Pleasure to play this Pleasant guitar...LOL..

The guitar has a 24 3/4 inch scale neck and the nut measures 1 11/16 inches. Again, the neck is not large. Feel a lot like a Strat. Nice medium C Profile.

I had it set up by our Tech and he has it playing great with la new set of 10 gauge strings and low easy playing action ...The Original white finish looks great .....the Rosewood fret board is in very good shape with the zero fret. The frets are in great shape as well ..the tuners and Tuner Grommets are all original and in great shape...The Single Coil Pickups are very strong and sound great...very low easy playing action...no sore fingers with this one...it sounds and Plays Great!!! Only the whammy tailpiece assembly is missing. Otherwise, all original!!

Sorry, no original case with this one. Its quite long at over 42 inches long so we are shipping it in a very nice bass gigbag...

Now this guitar is uber cool but old and vintage so it is sold as-is no returns..Thanks for respecting that!
