Yamaha QX21 is a digital sampling sequencer released by Yamaha in 1988. It was used by many professional musicians and producers, including the likes of Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, and The Chemical Brothers.
The QX21 is a 16-track sequencer that allows users to record and edit MIDI data. It features a built-in 8-bit sampler, a built-in drum machine, and a built-in synthesizer. It also has a variety of effects, including reverb, chorus, and delay. Additionally, it has a built-in arpeggiator and a variety of editing functions, such as quantization, transposition, and looping.
This unit was made in Japan for the Japanese market and designed to be used with 100 volt power. It can be used in the U.S. and was tested with 120 Volt power and functions as it should with no issues although the use of a Stepdown may increase the life of the sequencer.
