Fender 'crafted in japan' MG-69 from the late 90s (some dating sites say 94, due to it being 'O'-series others say 97).
Previous owner had it routed for minihumbuckers and a switch. It was done pretty well. The original shielding plates are missing.
I have shielded it, and restored it to original wiring with new pickguard, single coils and electronics (CTs pots and quality switches).
Pickups are two Matsumoku SC-350 (taken off a 1983 Vantage) and sound great. I used original mustang wring scheme, with the switches for in/out of phase. Switches are mounted with hex bolts, which sort of ruins the aesthetic a bit, but are easy to replace with phillips heads if that bothers you.
All hardware except strapbuttons is original. Plenty of life in frets. Truss rod works. Neck feels great.
Some dings, scratches and a few cracks in the lacquer, but everything is structurally sound and it plays like butter.
Comes with two extra pickguards (the mini humbucker one and an aftermarket perloid one) and what I assume are the original knobs.
Shipping might be set a bit high. I will refund difference if you paid too much. Also feel free to contact me and I can look up exact shipping for you.,
